Who We Are

A youth-led Organisation working to transform the lives of economically marginalised women and girls

Women and girls in Uganda live in communities where their economic rights, contributions and priorities have been largely overlooked. Gender inequalities feed patterns of underdevelopment with the largest population living in poverty, majority of whom are women and girls who face unequal access to the resources needed to improve their economic and social status.

Our Focus

Our Approach

Investing in Women and Girls

Our programs deliver lasting change by investing in women and girls to attain income generating skills that are instrumental in transforming their communities out of poverty.

Keeping Girls in School

We focus on girl-friendly activities such as reading clubs and disseminate sexual reproductive health information and services.

Engaging Men and Boys

Building  enabling environments for men to initiate dialogue amongst themselves about transforming cultures, beliefs and systems that are harmful to women and girls.

Safe Spaces

We provide safe spaces where women and girls can freely talk about their experiences, learn and build confidence.

To right the imbalances between men and women that have so far marginalized the welfare of three quarters of Uganda’s population; our programmes deliver lasting change by investing in women and girls to access quality education and acquire skills that are instrumental in transforming their communities out of poverty.
