Rego Foundation was birthed into existence in 2016, by Susan Hirego who sought for a safe space where she could freely talk about her experiences. Having suffered domestic violence for a couple of years, she hoped that telling her story would inspire her friends to join hands and help vulnerable women and girls suffering silently.
“I just needed someone to talk to, someone who knew my abilities and would point me in the right direction. And there; I met my turning point. I imagined a space where women and girls could get all the support they need to grow mentally, socially and economically, which is the core of what we do at Rego Foundation.”
Our goal is to transform the lives of 50,000 women and girls in the next 5 years.
